Power Electronics & Control, a partnership firm manufacturing industrial electronic controls under the brand name 'PECON' was started by two engineers V.M. Pradhan & A.J. Bordavekar in 1973. Both the promoters are technically qualified engineers and have background in similar field. PECON - as is better known in the market - is a small, close-knit company with well-qualified & trained manpower. |

Manufacture and sale of industrial electronic and process control instruments and control systems like Micro-controller based Transformer Protection Relays (OTIs, WTIs & WTSs) for both oil cooled and dry type transformers, Micro-controller based Annunciators, Temperature Scanners, Liquid Level Controllers etc. All these equipments are required by Power stations, Fertilizer, Chemical, Petro-chemical plants and Electricity utility centers. |

After setting up of 'PECON' the promoters felt the need for additional manufacturing facilities in allied field of instrumentation & motor / power control.
This lead to starting two more manufacturing companies. Positronics Pvt. Ltd. & Positronics Control System Pvt Ltd. Both these companies are fully owned by the same promoters. Due to complementary product range & similar field of activity the combined activity made the group very strong both technically & financially. |
